You absolutely nailed it on Leadville and all there is to do. I’ve lived here for just over 50 years and haven’t tired of it yet. I’m retiring in December and ain’t going anywhere. Unfortunately our little secret is out but I can share. You did forget one tho. The highest golf course in the nation with more stunning views. Next time your I’m town drop me a line and I will buy you a beer.

I have just finished scanning and retouching my dad’s color slides from Tepoztlan which he took in 1947 when my parents were newly married Americans living on Mexico City. So you helped me to put labels on things I was seeing, and I love getting a flavor (including the recipes!) for how things are now. My parents would have liked your write-up also! Thanks!

I’m American but I’ve been living on the Pacific Coast of Mexico since 1996. My husband and I are recently retired. We’re hardcore travel addicts. Our next trip is scheduled for October 23: Southern Spain, and sadly, Morocco. The plan is to fly into Casablanca and travel north to Tangier, via Chefchaouen, Martil and Tetouan. I really enjoyed reading your helpful blog regarding Morocco. I tried to buy you a beer but the sight bounced me back and won’t let me view my cart. E-mail me when you fix that.
