Ulun Danu Temple

At the edge of the Baratan Lake, you’ll find the Ulun Danu Temple. The temple is really hard to miss, as it stands tall as a home for the goddess of the lake. When you get there, you’ll be surprised by how quiet and peaceful it is there.

The temple is pretty big, but try and take time to walk around and enjoy all of the intricacies of the shrines and statues. Each shrine was dedicated to a different god.

Kuta Beach

You can’t travel to Bali without visiting one of their famous beaches. Thankfully, this one isn’t too far from the airport.

After you land, you can check into your hotel and then immediately make your way to the beach.  However, because it is so close to the airport, this beach can tend to get really crowded.

The waves here are perfect for surfing, so if you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at surfing, this is definitely your chance. This beach is also perfect for watching beautiful sunsets over the water. If you want to incorporate more nature experiences into your Bali trip, you should also look into Bali Safari Marine Park.

The Bali Swing

If you’re looking for more of an adventurous trip, you have to visit the Bali Swing.

This is a playground designed for adults, and it’s in the middle of a dense tropical jungle. In the middle of the jungle, there are twelve large swings. You’ll have great views when you’re there, and it’s a perfect place for an Instagram shot.

When you sit in the giant seat, you will be able to be buckled in so that you don’t fall off.

Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua is the capital of Bali, and it’s a place where all of the tourists go. If you don’t mind the crowds, this is a place you have to visit. Here, you’ll find all of the expensive, luxury resorts, golf courses, and expensive restaurants.

Gili Islands

Lastly, you should also try and visit the Gili Islands. This is an archipelago made up of three small islands, making it the perfect place for a tropical paradise getaway.

While you’re here, you can enjoy swimming in the crystal blue waters, but you can also do other things like learn more about the culture, take cooking classes, or even go backpacking and hiking.
