Orlando is one of the United States’ most exciting cities. It is one that contains adventures abound for all ages and home to some of the most incredible natural and man-made attractions. There’s no doubt you already know a few of the most iconic ones, but there is more to this city than just the theme parks and the artificial. Of course, there’s no going to Orlando without hitting at least one or two of their iconic theme parks.

Moreover, there are Universal Studios vacation packages that offer accommodation, free tickets, and theme park transportation for a hassle-free experience for you and your family.
Walt Disney World
This is widely considered to be the most magical place on Earth. Not much needs to be said about Disney World but it keeps getting better and better and adding more and more to the already fantastic theme park. No matter what age you are, this is a must-do in Orlando.
Gatorland
Want to wrestle a gator? This place is your spot. Florida is known for its alligators so naturally, there is a place where one can interact and learn about these fierce and majestic creatures.
Orlando Museum of Art
Art museums and galleries can be an interesting way to pass the time in a city. It showcases art from all over the world and is a more relaxing activity to mix in between the adrenaline and adventure of Orlando.
Lake Eola Park
For a bit of calm in the big city, Lake Eola Park is the place to be. It is serene and gives you a view of the city from a different perspective.
Center for the Performing Arts
If you are more into the arts, Orlando’s Center for Performing Arts is a great place to catch a show. From Broadway productions to one-of-a-kind only in Orlando shows, this is a perfect place for people of all ages.
Visit Kissimmee and Lake Toho
This is a bit of a drive from Orlando but it is well worth visiting to escape the city life for a little bit. This is one of the best places to take a day trip from Orlando. If you didn’t drive your own car to Orlando, you should definitely consider renting a car in Orlando. There are loads of beautiful places just outside of Orlando that are worth visiting. Renting a car for even a day or two can make your time in Orlando much more exciting.
Discovery Cove
If you want to experience sea life hands-on, Discovery Cove is one of the United States’ best places to do so. From playing with dolphins to watching marine life, Discovery Cove can be an unforgettable experience.
Have A Night Out At Thornton Park
This list wouldn’t be complete without a solid nightlife suggestion. Orlando can be a very fun city and Thornton Park is the best place for a night out.
There is really no shortage of things to do in Orlando. The hard part isn’t deciding what to do, it’s deciding what not to do. The best way to squeeze in all of these incredible adventures in and around Orlando is by renting a car. Car rental in Orlando allows you to explore things outside just the main sights and make the most out of your day. Forever Florida, Kissimmee and Lake Toho are all a decent drive outside of Orlando but well worth the visit. It would be expensive and difficult to visit these places yourself if you don’t have your own vehicle. Having a car allows you to explore everything this paradise city of Florida has to offer and beyond.
It may only have a reputation as a city of theme parks but if you dig a bit deeper, you will find that Orlando is a city that offers a lot more.
