I Just Launched My Photography Website!

Hey y’all!

So after weeks and weeks of sifting through pictures from the last three years of adventuring, I’ve finally finished my photography website and it would be amazing if you guys could slide on over and check it out.

Although I’ve been traveling for as long as I can remember, photography only became a passion of mine recently. That is quite unfortunate, considering my early travels are only documented through drunken Snapchats and douchey GoPro selfies. Seriously, I was looking through my first (and second, and third) Euro-trips and could barely scrape together any usable photos. I guess I lived up to this blog name a lot more back then. But hey, better late than never. I picked up my first DSLR last October and have been diving wholeheartedly into the world of photography since.

I’m learning new things with every click of the camera and still have a long way to go before I can even come close to the photographers that I idolize. But just like everything else I’ve been doing, the journey to get there is part of the adventure. I’ve met dozens of extremely talented photographers and content creators along my travels and have been inspired by them in countless ways.

In a way, simply having a passion like photography has pushed me to be better in so many other aspects of my life. Even while I am at home feeling uninspired, photography gives me a push to explore, both inside and outside. Photography gives me a way to tell stories that I sometimes can’t quantify or even come close to sharing. I’ve never bought into the mindset of going somewhere just to take a picture. But if a great picture comes out of an even greater adventure, then keep those adventures coming.

That mindset keeps things real and raw, and ever since I began this whole influencer/blogger lifestyle, that has been my goal. I’m not here to put on a larger-than-life persona living a lifestyle that I don’t actually live. My stories have always been as real and honest as they were in real life. And hopefully, my pictures will be just as real and as honest as my stories. Photography has become an expansion of who I am and regardless of where it takes me, it has filled a part of my life with passion and inspiration.

  1. How exciting. I checked out your site and it looks great. My early Euro travel was before Snapchat, and even Facebook. And I am super grateful for that! Haha. Too much fun to put in print. Excited to see what’s next!
